Iran and Qatar expand ports and maritime cooperation
Abdulla Mohamed Al-Khanji, headed a high-ranking delegation to Tehran to met with Ali Akbar Safaei, Deputy Minister and Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) in order to develop commercial relations and foster ports and maritime collaboration between the two countries. Pointing to the potentials of Bushehr, Deir, Kangan, and Negin port Island in Bushehr Province, Safaei proposed for investment in a logistic center in Bushehr Port by Qatar private sector in order to manage export supply chain from Bushehr to Qatar.
